Following your enquiry

It may be that you have approached us directly, or been referred to us by the social services department from which you initially sought help. Either way, any information passed to us will be dealt with sensitively and in confidence. We will talk to you about the services we provide and you can choose those that you require.

Assessing your needs

To ensure you receive all the services you require and to identify any particular issues we will arrange a full free no obligation assessment. A specially trained representative from your local Saga Homecare branch will visit you in your home and all information provided will be treated confidentially.

Your personal Customer Support Plan

In partnership with you we will then develop and put in place a package of care to suit your specific needs. We call this the Customer Support Plan. The plan will specify the services we will provide, including details such as timings of visits and tasks to be performed. The cost of care will also be clearly explained.

Receiving Care

Once your care has started we will continue to monitor the services you are receiving. We use an electronic monitoring system to provide you with the reassurance that you are receiving the agreed amount of care at the times you need it. Our office staff are always on hand to answer any queries you may have and you will be allocated an area supervisor who will ensure your care package runs smoothly.

Reassessing your needs

Over time your requirements may change – for example, you might need more or less care or a different type of care. We will keep your needs under review and recommend any changes required. If at any time there are aspects about our service that you would like to change, simply let us know.
