Star Value all inclusive holidays
All inclusive holidays in Europe and long haul destinations which include full-board and excursions plus free Saga bar. Star Value holidays are available at 62 resorts in 19 countries worldwide, including South Africa's Eastern Cape where Saga is the only British tour operator.
Single rooms at no extra supplement
With many of our customers either single or widowed, Saga has always campaigned on behalf of single travellers. All our UK holidays are available with no single supplement and we also offer thousands of rooms on a 'no single supplement' basis in other countries, even the USA. We insist that we contract standard twin rooms for single occupancy, rather than single rooms which are often poorly located.
Long-stay holidays to Chiang Mai, northern Thailand and Malaysia
Chiang Mai was previously a one or two night stop on a northern Thailand coach tour. We have now developed a long-stay programme here and offer a wide choice of holiday styles. These include three touring holidays, four hotel stay programmes and two-centre options. In Borneo, the possibilities even now include photography, scuba and climbing holidays.
Saga cruising
We have been a major cruise retailer for some 30 years and now operate two cruise ships of our own, Saga Rose and Saga Ruby. Our 50+ policy and stylish, traditional cruise atmosphere is proving a winning combination.

Consultant food & beverage chefs
We employ specialist food & beverage consultant chefs who work with hoteliers to ensure the highest quality for our customers. Thai hotel students also visit Saga in the UK to build bonds between the hotels and their partners.
Inclusive insurance plus discounts
We include insurance with all overseas and cruising holidays because it offers important protection for our customers, many of whom are discriminated against by other companies offering expensive premiums. However, if anyone has their own insurance policy we offer a discount off the Saga price. We also offer discounts at many hotels, shops and restaurants for transactions made using the Saga Visa card.
Exclusive Saga lounges
In larger hotels, we contract an exclusive Saga lounge where our travellers can relax, meet each other and enjoy complimentary refreshments daily.
'Holiday experience' programmes
As part of our long-stay product we have developed 'holiday experience' programmes that enable customers to understand more about the culture and tradition of the place they are visiting and meet with local people.
Flexible holiday extensions
As our long-haul range has expanded we have developed a large number or holidays offering pre- and/or post-holiday extensions to allow customers to see more of the area they are visiting. Our visitors to Thailand and Borneo can choose from five different extensions.
Saga Charitable Trust
We link donations to sustainable projects that help underprivileged local communities to those destinations visited by Saga customers. We also offer guests the opportunity to see projects in action.
Special interest holidays
We have created a unique range of special interest holidays such as gardens holidays in Mauritius and New Zealand, along with others closer to home including computer and car confidence courses here in the UK.

Saga Holidays Ltd also holds an Air Travel Organisers license with the Civil Aviation Authority (ATOL number 0308). Air holidays on this website are ATOL protected by the CAA and holidays not including air travel are protected by ABTA.
