Meet Dr Pamela Mason

Dr Pamela Mason is a qualified pharmacist and nutritionist. Prior to receiving her MSc and PhD in Nutrition from Kings College London, Dr Mason was a practising community pharmacist for 10 years.
During the early 1990s she worked at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society on the British National Formulary. Dr Mason is a nutrition and pharmaceutical consultant for several organisations.
She also teaches nutrition to pharmacists and regularly writes for the Pharmaceutical Journal and other specialist publications. She has published four books on nutrition and dietary supplements.
She has been answering Saga visitors’ questions for six years, “The questions I receive are really interesting and help to keep me in touch with the nutritional problems that people face in their daily lives”, says Pam.
