The purpose of health screening is to assess whether or not you are at risk of, or are developing, the early signs of certain illnesses. By using the assessment tool below, you will be able to identify if you are at greater risk and hence more likely to benefit from Saga Health Screening - simply answer the questions below, press the 'Click here to show results' button and your results will be displayed. However, if you are suffering from specific symptoms, you should discuss these with your GP in the first instance.

Do you have a family history of heart disease?
Have you ever been told that you have high blood pressure?
Have you ever been told that your cholesterol is high?
Do you suffer from high levels of stress?
Have you have been exposed to asbestos or other hazardous chemicals?
Do you have a history of lung cancer within your immediate family?
Do you have any history, or family history of colon cancers or polyps?
Have you had a change in your bowel habit such as diarrhoea or constipation?
Do you currently have a poor diet — high calorie, high fat, low fibre?
Are you overweight?
Have you had any unexplained weight loss recently?
Do you have a sedentary lifestyle?
Do you currently drink over the recommend levels of alcohol per week? 21 units for men and 14 units for women
