How can a Health Cash Plan help?

Saga Health Cash Plan can help you budget for healthcare costs by allowing you to claim back up to 75% of health bills.

Dental care

We cover you for up to £190* each benefit year, including both check-ups and treatments.

Optical care

Routine sight tests and new spectacles can be expensive. You can receive up to £190* each benefit year towards eye tests, contact lenses, and even laser eye surgery.

Health consultations

We provide up to £350* each benefit year towards consultations,       x-rays and other essential tests.

Physiotherapy, chiropody, osteopathy and chiropractic

Up to £400* each benefit year to ensure you can be treated promptly.

Complementary Therapies

Up to £200 * each benefit year towards homeopathy and acupuncture.

Hospitalisation

Incidental expenses such as loss of earnings, transportation costs and pet boarding fees can soon add up.

  • You can receive up to £50* for each night you stay as an            in-patient.   This amount is payable per night up to a maximum of 20 nights per episode, up to a maximum of 100 nights in each benefit year.
  • You can also receive up to £70* for each day-case admission.   This amount is payable per admission up to 10 occasions in each benefit year.

Recuperation, home help and nursing

After a stay in hospital, you may need extra help and nursing in the home. Or, if you have had a long stay, you may even wish to get away from it all to aid recovery.

We provide up to £850* each benefit year for home help and home nursing, and we will even give you a lump sum of up to £300* to use as you wish, if you have been in hospital for ten consecutive nights or more.

Telephone helpline

Free 24 hour, 365 days a year helpline, which provides general medical information, counselling and legal advice.

Additional benefits

We also cover you for treatments that may not be readily available on the NHS, such as hearing aid devices, health screening and allergy testing.
