Saga Landlord Insurance provides up to £500,000 cover as standard against damage caused by incidents such as fire, storm, subsidence, flood and theft.

If you are in England or Wales, you can access legal documents online, which includes a tenancy agreement. A tenancy agreement is a legal agreement in writing that sets out the rights and responsibilities of both landlord and tenant. The tenancy agreement must be for a fixed term of no more than 12 months or, if longer, must contain a break clause allowing both parties to terminate the tenancy after the first 12 months.
