Making a claim
At Saga, we operate a straightforward 24-hour claims line, with no need, in the majority of cases, for you to
complete any forms. This is a simple and personal process, with advice and help when you need it, and
therefore helps to take some of the worry out of a stressful time. All our advisers are based in the UK and you
will speak to a person rather than an automated telephone menu. This can make a big difference
if you need to make a claim.
In the event of a claim
Accidents can happen, so should you need to make a claim, all you need to do is call Saga.
Before you do, it is worth checking any other warranties or insurance contracts you may have. This is
because for some items, such as a mobile phone, you may have separate insurance that will cover this claim.
In some cases using alternative insurances may mean the excess you are required to pay is less or
not applicable.
