Section A- Premier and Premier Plus

Bodily injury resulting in the following:

Amount we will pay
Permanent total loss of sight in both eyes. Loss of, or loss of use of, two or more limbs. Permanent total loss of sight in one eye and loss of, or loss of use of, one limb. £50,000
Permanent total loss of sight in one eye or loss of, or loss of use of, one limb. £25,000
Permanent total loss of speech, or the hearing in both ears. £50,000
Permanent total loss of hearing in one ear. £10,000
Permanent total loss of use of a shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, ankle or wrist. £7,500
Permanent total loss of, or loss of use of:
    - one thumb £7,500
    - one forefinger £5,000
    - any other finger or one big toe £3,000
    - any other toe. £500
Section B- Premier and Premier Plus
Bodily injury resulting in the following: Amount we will pay
Fracture of the hip, upper leg, heel or pelvis (not including the coccyx):
    - Complicated fracture* £1,500
    - Simple fracture**. £750
Fracture of the lower leg, skull, collar bone, ankle, arm (including the wrist or elbow):
    - Complicated fracture* £1,000
    - Simple fracture**. £500
Fracture of the hand (not including the fingers), foot (not including the toes or heel), shoulder blade, kneecap or sternum.
    - Complicated fracture* £800
    - Simple fracture**. £400
Any other fracture:
    - Complicated fracture* £500

Dislocation of the spine or a hip £1,000
Any other dislocation which needs general anaesthetic or traction. £250
Second-degree burns (affecting more than 10% of the body surface). £200
Third degree burns (affecting more than 15% of the body surface or more than 50% of the surface of either hand). £300
Internal injuries for which you have to have surgery. £200
Section C- Premier Plus Only
Bodily injury resulting in the following: Amount we will pay
Death. £25,000
Confinement to a hospital as an in-patient, up to 100 days. £25 per day

* A Complicated fracture is defined as a fracture requiring either surgical treatment, traction or reduction under a local or general anaesthetic, or admission to hospital as an in-patient.

**A Simple fracture is any fracture other than a Complicated fracture, as defined above.
