Saga HealthPlan Secure provides cover for prompt access to a private hospital as soon as you need eligible treatment, avoiding the possibility of NHS waiting lists altogether.

The plan includes:

• Cover for eligible in–patient and day–patient treatment
• Cover for radiotherapy, chemotherapy and out–patient CT, MRI and PET scans
• Up to £650 for out–patient treatment, including consultations, diagnostic tests and physiotherapy
• Up to £300 towards post-operative physiotherapy following related in–patient treatment
• Provision for home nursing and a private ambulance

* We will pay these fees in full, as long as they are in line with the level customarily charged for the treatment you are given. Is there a maximum amount I can claim in any one year? No, there is no overall maximum limit to the amount that you can claim in one policy year, although there are limits on some of the benefits. Are there any exclusions compared to Saga HealthPlan Super? Saga HealthPlan Secure does not cover you for the following: recuperative care and treatment of dental conditions, and any benefit marked with an in the table above.
