Reason to renew
If you renew your policy with us you will automatically be covered for cancellation as soon as you book your next holiday. Sometimes insurance is left until after a holiday is booked, which could mean that cover is not in place if you have to cancel your holiday due to illness.
Cover is already in place should you want to go on a last minute holiday or city break.
As soon as you renew your policy with us you will have continued access to our 24–hour English speaking travel assistance helpline. This useful service can provide help and information on a variety of travel related issues, both before and during your trip.
A Fast, efficient claims service
At Saga, we operate a straightforward claims service with advice and help when you need it. It is a simple and personal process and therefore helps to take some of the worry out of a stressful time. All our claims advisers are based in the UK and you will speak to a person rather than an automated telephone menu. This can make a big difference if you have a medical emergency. We aim to ensure that every claim is dealt with quickly and with minimum fuss.
- Our medical emergency line is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Our Claims Advisers will be able to advise you, your travelling companion or the doctor on what steps to take to make a claim
- In our customer satisfaction survey in January 2008 95% of our customers rated the speed with which Saga settled their claim as 'good' to 'excellent'.
Traditional, personal service
When you call to either renew your policy or to make an adjustment our customer service team who are also UK-based provide a traditional, personal service. In fact, in a survey carried out by Saga during February 2008, the overall service provided by Saga was rated 'good' to 'excellent' by 96% of customers who responded.
