Love BirdsSometimes the best things in life happen on the fly…

From the moment an injured duck crash-lands on his roof, everything changes for Doug (Rhys Darby, Arthur Christmas, Flight of the Concords,). His is an ordinary guy who has never left New Zealand and whose long-term girlfriend has just left him. Dumped and wallowing in self pity, Doug’s luck takes a turn for the better when he is entrusted to look after the sick bird and nurse it back to health.

With help from an eccentric vet, Dr. Buster (Bryan Brown, Australia, Cocktail) and a reluctant bird specialist, Holly, played by Golden Globe® winner Sally Hawkins (Jane Eyre, Happy-Go-Lucky), Doug discovers a new-found motivation and the belief in himself to finally allow true love to blossom. But just as Doug thinks he is back on track, the path of romance does not appear so easy. When his ex tries to come back into his life Doug must learn a valuable lesson but is it enough for him to follow his heart...

Love Birds is out now from Icon Home Entertainment, RRP: £9.99
