Make this refreshing summery iced tea mocktail to enjoy on hot days.
Spiced iced tea, a non-alcoholic alternative to Long Island Iced Tea
This refreshing lightly spiced iced tea makes a refreshing drink during the height of summer.
Ingredients
- 1 teabag (such as English breakfast)
- Large pinch of ground cinnamon
- Small pinch of ground allspice
- Ice cubes
- 15ml (½oz) lemon juice
- 125ml (4oz/½ cup) ginger ale
- Lemon slice
Method
Place the teabag and spices in a mug and pour in 250ml (9oz/1 cup) boiling water.
Allow to cool, then put in the fridge until well chilled.
Pour the spiced tea into a large, tall glass over ice, then add the lemon juice and ginger ale.
Garnish with a slice of lemon.
