Saga Platinum
Verified by Visa
‘Verified by Visa’, is a free service, provided in association with Visa International, that protects your Saga Platinum credit card against unauthorised use when you shop online.
This is in addition to the internet fraud guarantee offered by the card.
If you wish to make purchases from a retailer who is ‘Verified by Visa’, you will need to register your Saga Platinum credit card.
When you register, you will be asked to enter a confidential password. Each time you make a purchase with a ‘Verified by Visa’ retailer, you will be asked to enter this password to confirm your purchase – just as if you were making a purchase face to face.
You can then be confident that your card will only be used for transactions that you have authorised.
You can either register your card now by following the links below, or can register when prompted to by relevant online retailers.
One–time registration is fast, easy and free
All you need is:
- Your Saga Platinum card number
- Your card expiry date
- The last three digits on the signature panel on the back of your Saga Platinum card
- The postcode from your billing address
- Your date of birth
You will then be asked to enter a confidential password and chose a login name.
Please note that you will be taken to an external site to register your card. The service is provided by AIB, the issuer of the Saga Platinum credit card.
