Fees and charges

These charges will be taken from your account balance unless otherwise agreed.

Administration charges

Account withdrawal – varies

Under some circumstances, you’ll incur a charge for making a withdrawal. For example, you’ll be charged if you withdraw funds immediately on an account with a notice period. The charge will be clearly stated in the terms and conditions of your account.

Telegraphic Transfer – £35

We can make a same day transfer of money from your account directly to another U.K. bank account electronically. To do this the charge is £35 and we will require your instruction in writing no later than 12.00 noon Monday to Friday.

AER stands for Annual Equivalent Rate and illustrates what the rate of interest would be if interest was paid and compounded once each year. As every advertisement for a savings product, which quotes an interest rate, will contain an AER you will be able to compare more easily what return you can expect from your savings over time.

Tax free is the contractual rate of interest payable where interest is exempt from income tax.

Tax treatment depends on your individual circumstances and may change.
