With Saga Platinum you will not be liable for any purchases made on the internet with your Saga Platinum credit card if your card details are obtained fraudulently.

Verified by Visa

In addition to the internet fraud guarantee, ‘Verified by Visa’ is a free service, provided in association with Visa International that protects your Saga Platinum credit card against unauthorised use when you shop online.

Once you’ve registered your Saga Platinum credit card with ‘Verified by Visa’ you will be protected when you shop online with over 300,000 retailers across Europe. Simply look out for the ‘Verified by Visa’ logo to see if you’ll receive protection with the chosen retailer.

When you register, you will be asked to enter a confidential password. Each time you make a purchase with a ‘Verified by Visa’ retailer, you will be asked to enter random characters from your password to confirm your purchase – just as if you were making a purchase face to face. This will allow you the confidence that your card will only be used for transactions that you have authorised.
