Saga Holidays offers La Dolce Vita and Croatian charm in new European and Mediterranean brochure for 2007.
Saga Holidays, the leading tour operator for the over 50s, has launched its new 2007 European and Mediterranean brochure with an unprecedented selection of new holidays in Italy and Croatia on offer.
From a two-week tour including a visit to the dramatic Dolomites to a seven-night trip to the famous Verona Opera Festival, a superb range of tours and hotel-stay holidays are now available across Italy.
A number of fantastic holidays showcasing the wealth of history, culture and natural beauty across Croatia are also available to Saga customers in the exciting new brochure.
Departures begin from October 2006 with holidays available from 14 different airports across the UK.
A new tour for 2007 features the picture-perfect setting of some of Italy's most magnificent lakes. The first stage of the Hidden Lakes of Italy trip includes an afternoon boat ride on Lake Orta, and excursions to Lakes Maggiore, Como, Varese (optional) and a visit to the stunning mountain village of Arcumeggia.
The second stage moves to the Molveno region, boasting the awe-inspiring Dolomite Mountains and the shimmering blue waters of Lake Garda. Prices start from 599 per person for the seven-night trip with the first departure leaving on April 15 2007.
Another top itinerary is the tour around the Bay of Naples and the Neapolitan Riviera. The seven-night trip begins with an intimate yacht cruise visiting Sorrento, the spa centre at Ischia and Capri, before staying for three nights in the hillside town of Sant'Agata.
The tour also includes an optional visit to Pompeii and a full-day optional excursion along the Amalfi Coast - visiting the towns of Ravello and Positano. Prices for The Bay of Naples and Neapolitan Riviera holiday start from 899 per person with the first departure leaving on 8 May 2007.
Meanwhile for Croatia, an enchanting 11-night holiday which features a city tour of Zagreb, sightseeing in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Split, and a journey through the breathtaking Plitivice Lakes National Park. The holiday also includes an excursion to the Makarska Riviera and an optional visit to the walled coastal town of Omis. Prices start from 649 per person with the first departure leaving on April 4 2007.

Prices for Saga's Europe and the Mediterranean holidays start from 249 per person for a seven-night self-catering stay in the Portuguese resort of Vilamoura, with a special three weeks for the price of two offer on selected departures.
There are various themed holidays on offer throughout the brochure including archaeology, art appreciation, bridge, gardens, music or walking. New spa packages are also available on many existing and new holidays.

Azores Island Hopping
This new 12-night tour provides the perfect get-away to the tranquil Azores archipelago. Prices start from 1099 per person, with the first departure leaving on March 20 2007.
