Saga Holidays launches four new special interest brochures for 2007
From gardens to music, art appreciation to archaeology, Saga's popular Special Interest holidays enable guests to indulge in a favourite pastime or discover a new interest in the company of fellow enthusiasts.
The Art Appreciation brochure offers the chance to see some of the world's great paintings with new product highlights including a cruise on the River Seine. The cruise, which is accompanied by art historian Nicholas Reed, includes visits to Monet's house and garden in Giverny and lunch at the Maison Fournaise - the famous meeting place of the Impressionists. Prices start from £1299 per person for the 6 night cruise including full board during the cruise with wine at lunch and dinner and 6 excursions.
Meanwhile the Ancient Civilisations brochure visits breathtaking archaeological sites around the world. The itinerary for the spectacular Land of the Pharaohs tour includes the Pyramids and the Sphinx, the Aswan High Dam, Valley of the Kings and Queens and the temples at Karnak and Luxor. Prices start from £1349 per person for 11 nights including full board with local wines, beers and soft drinks with lunch and dinner, insurance and cancellation cover, return scheduled flights, airport taxes, fees charges and more.
Music Review features a diverse range of holidays throughout the UK and beyond, varying from a seven-night stay at the Canary Islands Music Festival, with prices starting from £749 per person on an all inclusive break with 3 talks, 3 concerts and 2 excursions, to a seven-night all inclusive Jazz in Malta trip, from £699 per person including 5 live concerts, 2 talks and 2 excursions.
Finally Gardens Calendar highlights a great selection of hand-picked garden holidays. These range from the new Gardens of the Himalayas tour which visits the ancient gardens of Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal from £2099 per person for 12 nights (includes 2 nights aboard aircraft) with 10 breakfasts dinners and 9 lunches to a 29 night all inclusive cruise aboard the Saga Ruby visiting the stunning gardens of the Caribbean from £2811 per person.
