Halkidiki's spectacular Oceania Club, a five-star all-inclusive resort set in hillside gardens overlooking a sweeping beach with wonderful views over the Aegean and Mount Olympus, makes its Saga debut this summer in the Europe and the Mediterranean brochure with prices starting from 524 a week or 804 for 14 nights.

Just one kilometre from the traditional fishing village of Nea Moudania - there's a regular, free shuttle-bus for those who choose not to stroll - the Oceania is 60km from the gateway airport of Thessaloniki.

The contemporary-style property has 297 spacious rooms, all with seaview balcony or terrace, and all with satellite TV, free minibar (replenished twice a week), and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

The property has four restaurants, a lobby bar, pool bar and seasonal beach bar, a Saga lounge, a cinema and a library.

Other amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, a sun terrace, a spa and fitness centre, tennis and squash courts and a shop. There's live music and entertainment every night, and guests can try their hand at table tennis, darts, archery, cycling, aqua-aerobics or watersports - there's even a free one-hour introductory scuba-diving course. Greek lessons and cookery demonstrations are also available.

All meals - including three dinners in Oceania's a la carte restaurants - are included in the price, along with mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks, and free ice-cream all day. The free bar is open 15 hours a day, and there's always that complimentary minibar to fall back on!

Guests are also treated to a welcome drink, a cocktail party at the start of the holiday, and a gala dinner at the end. Two excursions are included in the one-week price - a day trip to Thessaloniki and a visit to the Petralona cave and winery, with two additional outings available for those staying longer. Optional excursions include a cruise to Athos - the holy mountain and a trip to Dion to visit Mount Olympus. Return flights between Gatwick and Thessaloniki are on British Airways' scheduled services; and the 40-minute transfers, insurance, airport tax and all fees and charges are included in the holiday price.

For those who wish to stay longer, extra weeks cost from as little as 219 and, better still, there are no single supplements on selected dates.
