Saga launches new European programme including plenty for culture vultures

Saga Holidays, the leading tour operator for the over 50s, has launched a new programme of European holidays offering a wide range of tour and stay holidays including exciting trips to Europe's most fascinating cultural capitals and in response to customer demand, a variety of different board options for the more independent traveller.

Superb deals to some of the most stunning beach resorts on the continent are also included in Saga's new Europe and the Mediterranean brochure, many offering an extra week free or savings off previously advertised prices.

And for those who want to learn a new hobby, or improve on an existing one, there is plenty to choose from among Saga's highly acclaimed special interest holidays, whether it is art appreciation, archaeology, music, walking or gardening.

There is also plenty for those who enjoy a spot of adventure, with excursions into the Tunisian Sahara, whale watching in the Azores

Independent – style Holidays

By popular demand, Saga's new brochure includes a variety of stay holidays offering a range of different board options for the more independent traveller. New Holidays

One of the features of the brochure is the wealth of exciting tours to cultural capitals across Scandinavia and central and Eastern Europe. The brand new Charms of the Czech Republic tour discovers the beautiful spa towns and ancient castles of Bohemia as well as taking in the capital, Prague and the glorious scenery of 'Czech Canada'. Highlights include a tour of Dresden, the old town of Cesky Krumlov and a boat cruise on the River Vltava. Moving towards warmer climes, the Grand Tour of Southern France is sure to whet the appetite of Francophiles with a 12-night west-to-east tour.
