Ali Crossley from Saga Personal Finance comments on the Moneyfacts report that credit card interest rates have leapt to their highest level since February 1999.

“We think it is outrageous for credit card providers to hike interest rates at a time when everyone is struggling financially. At Saga we listen to our customers, which is why we reduced our typical APR by 4% to 11.9%.“
