Saga builds new homes for Sandgate residents
Saga has created several new homes at its headquarters in Sandgate – but this development hasn’t caused a flap with local residents.
This is because the new homes are in fact part of Saga’s commitment to providing a nature-friendly environment at their Enbrook Park head office.
Saga’s head of communications, Paul Green explained: “We manage our sites very sensitively with both people and wildlife in mind. Staff, children in our crèche and other visitors to our Enbrook Park site enjoy seeing the varied wildlife that make their home in our grounds.
This year we thought it was not just the Royal love birds, William and Catherine that needed a new home this Easter so we have put up new nest boxes around the site."
Green went on: "The new homes are going cheep as there is no charge. Prospective residents a have been flocking to see their new des res – and that is even before we advertised them on twitter.”
