Kawantissapura School is located in the district of Hambantota.

This school, located near the pilgrimage site of Kataragama, has over 300 pupils between the ages of 6 and 18. The Trust first started working here after the tsunami, which devastated much of the district of Hambantota and although the school itself was not damaged, many of the children were affected.

The Trust funded the building of a library which was not only stocked with books but also computers enabling IT classes to be introduced.
