Following weeks of anticipation since the launch this summer, the Saga Endeavour Awards 2005 has come to its penultimate stage with the announcement of the regional finalists. Building on last year’s high standards the calibre of this year’s entrants has again been outstanding, as the nation’s over 50s continue to push the boundaries and embrace new challenges.
Following tough decisions by the judges the 2005 regional winners have been chosen and are listed here.
Andrew Goodsell, Chief Executive, Saga Group comments:
“We are delighted to see such a high calibre of entries this year, although this makes the judging even tougher. Age is certainly no barrier and we hope that the Saga Endeavour Awards will encourage more of Britain’s over 50s to undertake new challenges and experiences.”
The regional winners have been awarded £250 of Saga Holidays vouchers and now progress to the national final. The prize for the national winner is a round the world air ticket for two people. The ticket, valid for a year, will allow up to six stopovers in a selection of exciting destinations including Bangkok, Mumbai, Fiji, Auckland and New York, offering the winner the trip of a lifetime.
Thank you to everyone that entered the awards. Watch this space for the announcement of the national winner.
