Lovers of the natural world and bird life will once again be flocking to beautiful Levenhall Links in Musselburgh, east Edinburgh, on May 21 and 22 for Scotland's fifth Big Nature Festival and Birdfair.
Birdwatchers will be twitching with excitement at the festival's return to Levenhall, as nearby Musselburgh Lagoons is a renowned haven for migratory and wading birds, ducks nesting on grassy banks, plus meadows brimming with butterflies and brown hares.
But you don't have to be a specialist on our feathered, fluttery and furry friends to get the best out of this annual fest. Amateur country-philes home in on the Big Nature Festival as well for its fascinating range of walks, talks, demos, workshops, arts, crafts, and artisan food among more than 100 exhibitors to inspire all ages.
You can buy tickets online at Scotland's Big Nature Festival website.
