You are invited to hear Helen’s incredible stories first hand, as this accomplished and in-demand speaker enthuses on the subject of space and the wonders of science. Plus, you will enjoy a privileged after-hours visit to two magnificent celebrations of space exploration: The Moon and Astronomy Photographer of The Year.

About Helen Sharman CMG OBE

Helen is a true homegrown space pioneer, who trained at Nasa and became the first female British astronaut in space when, in May 1991, she launched a Russian Soyuz spacecraft and spent eight days orbiting the Earth, living and working on the MIR Space Station.

We have 250 of pairs of tickets which Possibilities members can win to experience an audience with astronaut Helen Sharman CMG OBE at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, London on Tuesday 19 November 2019.

The experience starts at 6:30pm and finishes at 9:15pm.

Helen’s talk begins at 8pm for 45 minutes, with a 15-minute Q&A session for guests at the end.

The winners will receive:

  • Access to an exclusive audience with Helen Sharman – the first British female astronaut to visit space.
  • Special, exclusive after-hours access to two space-related exhibitions at the National Maritime Museum: The Moon exhibition and Astronomy Photographer of the Year.
  • Use of an on-site bar with a select amount of beverages for guests to enjoy.

Once the ballot has closed and the winners have been drawn, they will be notified by email to confirm they can attend. Winners will be given all the necessary security, ID and ticket information.
