Edie – an exclusive film preview

Be one of the first to see Edie: the stunning story of a woman in her 80s who sets out to climb a Scottish mountain.

We're pleased to be able to bring this exclusive preview screening opportunity to Possibilities members. Available at 25 cinemas across the UK, you and a guest can be the first to enjoy this inspiring film.

With a prolific British cast starring Broadway actress Sheila Hancock and Kevin Guthrie (Dunkirk and Whisky Galore), Edie is tale of triumph over adversity. Edith Moore (Sheila Hancock) is an 83-year-old woman, who after the death of her controlling husband, decides to fulfil a life-long dream by climbing a Scottish mountain, overcoming a lifetime of bitterness and resentment.

Against her daughters’ wishes, Edie heads to Scotland and employs Jonny (Kevin Guthrie) to help her prepare for the gruelling climb ahead – which sparks an unusual friendship. Edie embarks on an adventure of a lifetime that is physically and mentally challenging, set against the stunning backdrop of the Scottish Highlands.
