Saga Magazine pay tribute to Keith Waterhouse
"He will be terribly missed. Keith had been a columnist for Saga Magazine for 15 years. His particular brand of what I called spiky nostalgia was always sharp, always beautifully written, always thought-provoking - and always bang on the word length. In a recent interview he told us that he thought he spent "too much time in pubs, looning about. But all good material of course, and very good fun." It was a joy and a privilege to have Keith share so much of that fun with us for so long. He was The Master."
Keith Spencer Waterhouse CBE (6 February 1929 – 4 September 2009) was a novelist, newspaper columnist, and the writer of many television series.
