Saga urges the Government to make a decision on airport capacity
Saga, one the UK’s leading travel companies, has today urged the Government to accelerate the decision about more airport capacity.
Saga travel's Louis Myers said:
"Airport capacity in the south east and in other regions is vital, not just for holidaymakers, but for British business.
With Howard Davies's Airport Commission now sinking Boris Island airport in the Thames Estuary, the Government needs to accelerate the decision to pick Heathrow or Gatwick. Governments of many hues have avoided making a decision, but we need politicians with a backbone, not the will of a jellied eel, if Britain is to get the airport capacity it needs.”
