Saga Sapphire moors overnight in Livorno, Italy, and guests can take an optional excursion to enjoy the opera at the open-air festival in Torre del Lago, on the beautiful shores of Lake Massaciuccoli.

It is said that Giacomo Puccini cried after composing the final scene of Le Bohème in 1896. It is one of the world’s most adored operas, where Mimi the Bohemian seamstress, her poet lover Rodolfo and their destitute Parisian friends capture the pain and pleasure of young love.

The 19-night sailing also features tours to sites associated with Puccini including the Duomo where four generations of Puccini's forebears were organists, and the Church of San Michele in Foro where Puccini was a chorister.
