Half a million sign up to Saga’s newly launched membership programme- PossibilitiesWednesday 28 March 2018
The volume of Saga customers signing up to become members of its flagship programme, Possibilities, has exceeded all expectations. Since Saga launched Possibilities in October, it has seen half a million customers sign up to take advantage of the money can’t buy VIP events and offers including exclusive discounts and free welcome gifts ranging from flowers to wine for every member.
Saga’s free membership programme is exclusively for Saga customers. To date eight in ten of those customers that have been asked have chosen to join the programme with a staggering 25,000 becoming possibilities members each and every week.
In addition to the fantastic discounts and offers that help members save money on every day luxuries, the programme also offers exclusive experiences and events tailored to meet a wide range of interests ranging from more traditional events such as opera, theatre and wine tasting to adrenaline fuelled experiences such as a high speed London boat tour and indoor skydiving.
Over 100,000 member entries have been made to 41 exclusive member ballots with prizes on offer ranging from exclusive events such as VIP tickets to see Ball and Boe at the 02, including a meet and greet, tickets to an intimate event at St Paul’s Cathedral to see Mica Paris and the chance to see Lulu live at Tower Bridge. In addition Saga also took over the Lyric Theatre for an exclusive event for Saga members and their grandchildren to watch the Gruffalo’s child, not to mention the ballots for luxury holidays such as a 12 night all-inclusive trip to Sri Lanka.
For many people turning 50 or 60 does not mean that life winds down, in fact for many it’s the exact opposite. It’s about fulfilment, living the way they want to and doing the things they really want to. Possibilities was designed to fulfil these needs and give people completely free access to offers, events and experiences that they simply would not be able to get otherwise.
In addition to the money can’t buy events and experiences, the offers and discounts that Saga members can exclusively enjoy are also proving popular with more than 20,000 members claiming their free flower offer from Jersey Plants Direct, as well as the ever popular free bottle of wine from Majestic and the free year’s golf membership with Open Fairways.
