Hence the huge drop in interest rates and banks finding themselves in a half nelson to stay their hand in repossessing properties. But no one seems to have considered the plight of savers – of which pensioners and I'm sure, hundreds of Zoners, are the most vulnerable since so many depend on these to supplement the State Pension every month.
