A nutritious banana, blueberry and apricot breakfast smoothie that's packed with oats, seeds and nuts for long-lasting energy.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 4 dried apricots
  • 3 tbsp blueberries
  • 4 tbsp oats
  • 1 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 2 tsp linseeds
  • 1 tbsp walnuts or hazelnuts
  • 1 tbsp wheatgerm
  • 125ml semi-skimmed milk or almond milk
  • 125ml orange juice
  • 1 tbsp honey

Method

New Year, new effort to eat healthily. But what if you're not keen on porridge? Try porridge oats, fruit, nuts and seeds in this nutritious breakfast smoothie that's packed with energy to keep you going all morning. 

What's more, it's extremely easy to make - simply measure out all your ingredients and blend everything together until smooth and enjoy. Add a little extra milk or orange juice if you find it too thick.
