Expert advice from Ali
- Write down the 24-hour claims number and put it in your car’s glovebox.
That way, if your phone battery’s low or you need to call from someone else’s phone, you’ve got the number to hand in an emergency. - Keyless cars are attractive to thieves and the tech doesn’t deter them.
Add a more traditional anti-theft device such as a steering wheel lock or a hefty padlock to gates. This will put criminals off as they can’t make a quick and quiet getaway. - When you’re renewing or getting a quote, don’t guesstimate details such as your annual mileage.
