Saga Colleagues helping to drive positive change in our communities

As part of volunteers' week, colleagues from across the business having been getting back together in their teams and taking part in beach cleans in Sandgate hosted by the Marine Conservation Society.

During yesterday's (4 June) beach clean approx 2,000 pieces of litter was collected from a 200m stretch of beach. Items collected included a plastic spider, a pair of socks and the end of a fishing rod!

It was great to see so many colleagues and their children taking part and seeing each other in person rather than on a screen. We were also joined by Giles Barnard from Folkestone & Hythe district council and the Chair of Sandgate Parish Council, Tim Prater who thanked Saga for all we do in the local community.
