Nominee Dealing Account: the details
Nominee dealing accounts are a safe and easy way for individuals to trade in stocks and shares.
The Saga Share Direct Nominee Dealing Account is free to open with no account management fees.
Shares are high-risk investments. Share prices and the income from them can fall as well as rise and you may not get back the full amount invested. Saga Share Direct doesn’t offer advice, so if you’re unsure whether handling your own investments is suitable for you, please consult a financial adviser.
This account has a simple commission system. It's a fixed charge, not a percentage – and you can save the more you trade. Online trades cost £11.95 each and phone trades are £17.50 each. But after nine trades in a calendar quarter, the costs go down to £9.75 (online) and £12.50 (phone). Plus, your reduced rate carries over to the next calendar quarter too!
Set up your account here – you’ll need your National Insurance number and details of the bank account you want to use to fund investments and deposit any returns.
Want to use your ISA tax allowance when investing? The Saga Share Direct Shares ISA works in exactly the same way as the Nominee Dealing Account, but with the benefit of no
tax on income or capital gains.
You can find fees and charges, terms and conditions and other guides on the Important Information page.
