In 2015, Saga announced the sale of Allied Healthcare, who ran the Saga Homecare businesses, to Aurelius Group.
Lance Batchelor, Chief Executive Officer, commented:
"Allied remains a market leader in the provision of domiciliary care to local authorities and the NHS. However, as outlined earlier this year, it does not fit with the Saga business model. I am therefore pleased to announce the successful completion of the sale process to Aurelius and I am confident this will be a good home for Allied."
On a few directory and listing websites Saga Homecare still appears with the Saga PLC contact details.
We are working with Allied Healthcare to remove these references, but would like to highlight that Saga PLC and Saga Healthcare are no longer affiliated in any way to the old 'Saga Homecare' brand.
As we get older we may need more help to remain independent. With live-in care, a trained professional carer will live with you, to offer as much or as little home care assistance as you need.
Sometimes people need a little more help to keep on doing the things they love. A professional carer can help with a single weekly visit to more regular care at home services.
A personal alarm gives users the freedom to live independently at home, safe in the knowledge that if there is an accident or they have a fall, then help is only a push of a button away.
