Saga Mortgages: Fee-Free Mortgage Advice - Terms and Conditions: 

1. Overview: 

Saga Mortgages is provided by Tembo Money Limited who provide regulated mortgage advice to UK customers. Customers accessing this service usually pay a mortgage advice fee ranging from £299 to £749. Saga Mortgages is offering Saga Insurance Policy holders access to its mortgage advice service without paying this fee, provided they meet the eligibility criteria set out below. Accessing this offer will not impact the advice or recommendation you receive. The offer is available until 31st December 2026. 

2. Fee-Free Mortgage Advice 

Eligible customers can receive mortgage advice from Saga Mortgages without incurring the standard mortgage advice fee (normally between £299-£749).

Important Note: Other fees and charges may still apply when obtaining a mortgage. 

3. Eligibility criteria:

To qualify for fee-free mortgage advice, you must: 

• Hold one or more of the following policies with Saga Services Limited (an ‘Eligible Policy’): 

• Car Insurance Policy 
• Home Insurance Policy 
• Travel Insurance Policy; or 
• Private Medical Insurance Policy 

• For one or more of the Eligible Policies held with Saga Services Limited:  

• The policy must be active; and  
• Not be in the process of cancelling before the time a valid mortgage offer is received as a result of Saga Mortgage’s advice.  

4. Claiming the Fee-free mortgage advice 

4.1  To claim fee-free mortgage advice, applicants must:

• Complete the Saga Mortgages online fact find or speak to Tembo via the Saga Mortgages phone line, and request fee-free advice as a Saga Insurance customer 
• Provide personal details as required to verify eligibility 
• Complete all required identity and credit checks  
• Provide all necessary documentation and information required by Saga Mortgages 

4.2   Your adviser will provide you with reasonable time to review and accept the terms of your recommendation ahead of an application being submitted. 

4.3   The signed Mortgage Recommendation Letter must be submitted to the mortgage advisor within the offer period. Any signed Mortgage Recommendation letters received after 31st December 2026, will not be eligible for the fee-free offer. 

5. Limitations: 

• Fee-free mortgage advice is available only to the Saga Insurance Policy holder and not to any other individual.  
• If you receive fee-free mortgage advice but do not proceed with the recommended mortgage, you will not be eligible for fee-free mortgage advice again for 12 months from the date of the initial advice.  

6. General Conditions

• Saga Mortgages reserves the right to modify or withdraw this offer at any time at its sole discretion.  
• The offer is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and may not be substituted for any other benefit.  
• Saga Mortgages is not liable for any inability to provide you with fee-free mortgage advice, whether the result of our errors or otherwise.  
• Saga Mortgages is not responsible for any delays or failures in processing applications due to circumstances beyond its control.  
• Saga Mortgages reserves the right to refuse to provide fee-free mortgage advice at our sole discretion, including, but not limited to, where we suspect abuse, fraud, or breach of these terms or any other applicable terms.  
• This offer is made available by Saga Mortgages, which is provided by Tembo Money Limited, a company whose registered address is 18 Crucifix Lane, London, SE1 3JW.  

By participating in this offer, you agree to these terms and conditions.  

7.  Limitation of legal liability

7.1  Tembo accepts no legal responsibility for any use of this Fee-Free Mortgage Advice which breaches these terms or Tembo’s Terms of Business.

8. Applicable law 

8.1  These terms and any dispute (including any non-contractual dispute) or claim coming out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. 

8.2   Each party forever agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive authority to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this agreement or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims). 

9. Data Protection 

9.1  You can refer to the Tembo Privacy Policy for further information on how we will use your data through the course of your application. 

9.2  You can refer to Saga’s Privacy Policy for further information on how Saga will use your data.
