We’re delighted to invite Saga readers to a special advance screening of The Penguin Lessons, a new film starring Oscar nominee Steve Coogan, due to be released in cinemas on 18 April.
Directed by Peter Cattaneo (Military Wives) and written by Jeff Pope (Philomena), The Penguin Lessons is adapted from the 2016 memoir by Englishman Tom Michell, whose life was turned upside down after rescuing a penguin from an oil-slicked beach in Uruguay.
Set in the 1970s against the backdrop of a cataclysmic period in Argentinian history, the film also stars Jonathan Pryce (Slow Horses, The Crown).
The screenings will be held at selected Curzon, Cineworld, Showcase and Merlin cinemas across the country on 1 April, with free tickets* on a first-come, first-served basis.
