Our house near Cirencester has been divided into three.
It’s a 17th-century manor house and we’ve got separate homes for my wife Jackie and me, plus the rest of the Bowen clan: my daughters Cecile and Hermione, their partners Dan and Drew, and four grandchildren - Albion, 8; Demelza, 3; Romily, 2 and Eleanora, 18 months.
We’ve split the land, the deeds, everything. I am no longer Lord of the Manor.
At 5pm every day, the family gathers together for drinkies and nibbles. We’re making time for each other, talking about the day, bouncing ideas around – the house is also a workspace and studio.

This summer, there’s also our 35th wedding anniversary.

Camera crews have been sniffing around for years, asking if they can film the family. Finally, we said yes, and they’ve been following us for a good part of 2024.
Is it a reality show? Sort of.They say that we’re an unusual family, but we’re just doing what comes naturally.
We have a successful global business that lives, works and creates in the Cotswolds.
There’s a ton of stuff happening this year. Rumours of my TV demise have been greatly exaggerated.
After 30-odd years, the TV people just let me get on with it. I’ve got Castle Secrets coming up on Channel 4 and The Royal Beat for ITV.
