A zinging mocktail recipe made with ginger, lemon and Angostura bitters.

This non-alcoholic version of gin and tonic is ideal for anyone sick of the sickly sweet non-alcoholic drinks usually on offer.

Ingredients

  • Ice cubes
  • 15ml (½oz) ginger syrup/cordial
  • 15ml (½oz) lemon juice
  • Dash of Angostura bitters
  • 185ml (6oz) tonic water

Method

Place some ice in a medium glass. Add the ginger syrup, lemon juice and a dash of bitters, then stir in the tonic water.

Garnish with a slice of lemon or lime and a sprig of mint.
