200g, RRP: £2.25
Smooth, creamy, flavoursome chocolate with a delicious velvety texture on the palate. Perfectly balances sweetness and a hint of vanilla. A yummy chocolate at a great price.
180g, RRP: £2.75
Distinctively sweet, creamy, smooth and very much ‘melt in the mouth’. Lacks depth in chocolate flavour but remains a traditional favourite.
180g, RRP: £3.70
While wonderfully attractive, the moulded ‘choc’ design is very difficult to break into bits. The chunky, creamy chocolate itself has a rich, nicely balanced flavour and isn’t too sweet.
100g, RRP: £3.50
This uniquely different bar has a subtle sweetness and a natural creaminess. It is thin and indulgent with a distinct taste and a price to match. One to eat as a special treat.
200g, RRP: £2.30
Good, chunky chocolate with a smooth, creamy flavour and ample taste. An appetising, hearty bar, and superb value.
180g, RRP: £3.50
A firm chocolate bar with a good flavour, but without the velvety mousse-like taste one would expect from ‘Belgian chocolate’. Still, the overall taste was distinctive and lingered in the mouth.
90g, RRP: £3.50
Crisp, with a lingering, deep chocolate flavour and an aftertaste that is bitter rather than sweet. Would appeal to lovers of plain chocolate, but for others, it might not taste as luxurious as the price suggests.
200g, RRP: £2.28
Although missing a rich chocolate taste, this had a sweet and milky flavour. Ordinary, but quite palatable.
180g, RRP: £3
While it definitely melts in the mouth, it was almost too sticky on the palate. Milky but lacks a strong chocolate flavour. Quite pricey for a fairly ordinary bar.
