Let us take you on a tour of Blenheim Palace this summer. Exploring some of the finest gardens and architecture in England with access to The Duke of Marlborough's private Italian Garden to admire The Waldo Story fountain, this is an experience not to be missed.
The Palace is a fine example of 18th Century Baroque architecture and houses some of the finest antique collections in Europe. You will tour the elegant state rooms with their portraits, tapestries and exquisite furniture as you learn about the 300-year history of this national treasure.
Gardens of grandeur
A World Heritage Site, the palace is nestled within more than 2,000 acres of landscaped parkland, designed by 'Capability' Brown. With some of the finest views in England, you will discover historical monuments such as The Column of Victory, Grand Bridge and The Temple of Diana. Strolling around the Formal Gardens you will enjoy the blooming Rose Garden, Water Terraces and Secret Garden.
Blenheim Palace is also host to a wealth of sporting and cultural events, themed exhibitions and tours throughout the year.

After the tour, you can enjoy champagne and canapés during a meet-and-greet with the palace’s Head Gardener, Hilary Wood.
Your guide will finish with a talk about 'Capability' Brown, the famous national landscape gardener who was commissioned by The 4th Duke of Marlborough in 1763 and spent a total of 11 years transforming The Palace’s landscaped parkland “to pleasing effect”.

Blenheim Palace sits at the edge of the picturesque town of Woodstock in Oxfordshire and is a 20-minute journey from the city of Oxford.
The Palace is also within easy reach of central London and Birmingham. Both cities are around one and a half hours away by car. Free car parking is available on site for visitors to Blenheim Palace, though we encourage the use of sustainable public transport as much as possible.
Once the ballot has closed and the winners have been drawn, they will be notified by email to confirm they can attend. Winners will be given all the necessary information about how they will receive their tickets. Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable, and cannot be transferred to someone else. Ballot prizes include tickets only, no travel or accommodation is provided unless stated.
