A private evening at the Royal Observatory

3 days
left to enter

Win tickets to a special evening at the Royal Observatory after it closes its gates to the public, including a private viewing of the magnificent collection at Flamsteed House.

On arrival you will be welcomed by a Royal Observatory astronomer, who will take you to view the world-famous Meridian Line overlooking Greenwich Park. From this spectacular vantage point, you will have an opportunity to take in the breathtaking London skyline after dark, before entering historic Flamsteed House for drinks and the start of your private viewing.

At this private after-hours reception in the Christopher Wren-designed house, you will be able to spend time in both the breathtaking Octagon Room, which was designed for the observation of astronomical events including eclipses, comets and planetary movements, plus the Time and Longitude gallery.

During your evening you will also have a chance to listen to and chat with some of the Royal Observatory’s expert curators and astronomers.
