Delicious and delivered

The commitment of Wiltshire Farm Foods to deliver tasty, quality food from its kitchen to yours is one constant in an uncertain world.

What could be better than having a selection of tasty meals stashed away in your freezer ready to pop in the microwave or oven?

Wiltshire Farm Foods offers this and more. During the pandemic, when supermarkets have been off-limits for many, Wiltshire Farm Foods has continued to deliver service with a smile to people staying at home.

While many are still nervous about venturing out to the shops, it’s good to know that you have another option. Wiltshire Farm Foods offers a choice of 350 flavoursome dishes made with quality ingredients. And with an award-winning head chef and a qualified dietitian, plus years of knowledge and experience, you can be sure that what you get is top notch. Options from traditional British favourites to flavours from across the world mean there’s plenty to suit a range of appetites, tastes and dietary needs – perfect if you don’t have the energy or want to cook.

Wiltshire Farm Foods offers a genuine personal service, all too rare in these days of self-service check-outs and automated phone lines. There’s always a cheery, local person at the end of the phone and a familiar, smiling face at your door. What’s more, everything you order comes with a Wiltshire Farm Foods Satisfaction Guarantee, meaning that if there’s a meal you’re not happy with, they will gladly replace it free of charge.** You can order as often as you want – there’s no contract or subscription to tie you in – and, whether for yourself, a friend or relative, ordering is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

It's all about the customer

From the friendly person who answers your phone call to the cheerful delivery driver bringing sunshine to your door, Wiltshire Farm Foods is all about people.

A familiar voice at the end of the phone and a smiling face at the door are the small rays of sunshine that can make your day, especially in times like these when you might not be seeing much of friends and family and could go for days without seeing or speaking to anyone in person. If, like many others, you’re nervous about venturing out to the shops, Wiltshire Farm Foods enables you to order food from the comfort of your own home – without the need to wear a mask, queue up or battle with the unpredictable British weather.

Unlike supermarket deliveries where the only option is to place an order via the website, which isn’t always easy, or you might struggle to secure a delivery slot, Wiltshire Farm Foods offers a genuine personal service. From the helpful person who picks up the phone when you call to place your order, to the cheery local driver who delivers it, it’s all about people. And, while other couriers are often in a rush to get on to their next delivery, Wiltshire Farm Foods drivers, all trained in nocontact delivery to keep you safe, are only too happy to chat.

What’s more, because drivers do the same round each week you’ll see the same face every time. If you need help they will carry your food into your kitchen and put it in the freezer for you – all at the proper social distance, of course. And, if you like, they will also take your next order. It’s good old-fashioned service with a smile.

MEET MEL… Mel Ryan is a customer services advisor at the Wiltshire Farm Foods branch in Trowbridge. Here she explains how her job brings a ray of sunshine to the people she helps every day – and to her.
How long have you worked for Wiltshire Farm Foods?
Amazingly, it’s been 15 years and that time has flown. It’s a wonderful job.
What did you do before that?
I was in customer services for a bank.
What's a typical day?
I’m tempted to say there’s no such thing because my days can include anything and everything. I take orders, deal with queries and let customers know about new meals or special offers as well as working closely with drivers and helping to manage their rounds. But talking to our lovely customers remains at the heart of every day and that’s why I love my job.
What's the best thing about your job?
There’s nothing better than having a good old chinwag with our customers and hopefully brightening their day, just as they brighten mine. I’ve got to know some of them really well as they order every week. We talk about our families and share stories. I feel very privileged to be part of their lives.
What do our customers say about Wiltshire Farm Foods? They often tell me how much they appreciate the extra time we take to find out how they’re doing. They really value the personal approach that you simply don’t get from big companies with automated phone lines.
What's lockdown been like? A lot of the customers I’ve spoken to have told me they don’t know what they would have done without us while they haven’t been able to go out or book a grocery delivery. It’s given them real peace of mind knowing their meals were coming every week. And it’s been wonderful to be able to provide them with that comfort.
Starter or dessert? Definitely a dessert! I love the Caramel Sundae but on a cold day I’d go for a Jam Sponge and Custard – simply delicious!

Wiltshire Farm Foods shepherd's pie

Just heat and eat

The new season menu from Wiltshire Farm Foods is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and keep you well nourished through autumn and winter.

Warming soups, hearty casseroles, succulent roasts and delicious desserts. These are just some of the small daily pleasures that bring comfort and help to lift the spirits. And Wiltshire Farm Foods’ new autumn and winter menu certainly does that.

Choices range from British classic dishes such as Luxury Shepherd’s Pie – minced lamb and vegetables in a red wine gravy topped with sweet potato mash and a cheese crumb – to Chicken & Chianti Casserole – chicken pieces in a Chianti sauce served with potato gratin, carrots, peas and green beans for a true taste of the Mediterranean; just the ticket for rainy days and cooler weather.

And what a menu it is, packed with the flavours of Christmases past – from a delicious turkey roast with all the trimmings to artisan mince pies – to keep you merry and bright. Say goodbye to crowded supermarkets, sit back and choose your favourites, then call your friendly local team to place your order. It couldn’t be easier or tastier.
Christmas gift Now here’s an offer you can’t refuse: buy the special Christmas Collection menu pack of seven meals and three desserts for just £39 and you will receive a free pack of Artisan Mince Pies with your order.

The award-winning head chef, Phil Rimmer, and his talented colleague, Liam Newblé, have been part of the Wiltshire Farm Foods family for more than 15 years. And, like every family member, they love hearing what customers think of their menus. They put a huge amount of time and effort into choosing quality ingredients, preparing and cooking them with the utmost care so that all you have to do is take them out of the freezer and into the microwave or oven. They are both passionate about good food and there’s nothing they like more than creating new dishes or adding a twist to old favourites to make them even better.

This season includes 27 new offerings from a Smoked Haddock Gratin with smoky fish in a West Country Cheddar and chive sauce to Somerset Chicken Pie, a combination of chicken and mushrooms in a creamy cheesy mustard, apple and cider sauce topped with mashed potato, both with accompanying veg.

There’s also a classic Lamb’s Liver & Bacon in Onion Gravy to which, after listening to customer feedback, Phil and Liam have now added bacon lardons and a smooth parsley mash.

If you’re vegetarian, or simply fancy a meal without meat, there’s the new Quorn, Leek & Mushroom Pie topped with a satisfying shortcrust lid and a tasty Vegetarian Cottage Pie with Quorn mince in a tomato and onion sauce with ruby port, finished with mashed potatoes, served with peas and carrots.

There’s nothing quite like a proper pud to round off a meal and this season’s menu doesn’t disappoint. Choose from tried-and-tested favourites such as Apple Crumble & Custard and Lemon Meringue Pie, or why not try the new Chocolate and Cherry Brownie with Vanilla Cream Sauce, which simply oozes deliciousness?

Whatever the time of day you’ll never be short of something to put on the table – from breakfasts to light bites and lunches, cakes for afternoon tea as well as heartier meals to satisfy larger appetites.

With lower-calorie choices, low in fat, saturated fat, sugar and salt, gluten-free options, meatless meals and softer foods for those who find chewing and swallowing tricky, all in a range of different portion sizes, there’s something to suit every appetite and dietary need.
