Special relationships

From the helpful person who answers the phone to the friendly driver who will deliver your meals, everyone at Wiltshire Farm Foods is so passionate about making a difference

Brian’s story

For Brian, a driver from Peterborough, working for Wiltshire Farm Foods is personal. His dad, a customer, had developed a close friendship with his delivery driver. So when Brian spotted an opening for a driver in his own area, he jumped at the chance of joining the Wiltshire Farm Foods family.

The best thing about his job? Brian, who stars in Wiltshire Farm Foods’ new TV ad, says: “My customers. I’ve got to know them really well and I love chatting to them.

“It’s a unique job – it’s not just about delivering meals, it’s about that friendly, personal service. I saw it first-hand when I used to order Wiltshire Farm Foods meals for my Dad and I always thought I’d love to work for them – so I was thrilled to get the job.”

Sylvia’s story

Right from start Wiltshire Farm Foods customer Sylvia hit it off with Mel, the chatty customer service advisor who picked up the phone when she placed her first order. “We talked about our families, cars and shopping. I felt connected to her,” Sylvia recalls.

The next time Sylvia called, Mel answered and instantly recognised her voice. They soon discovered they were both keen fans of the ITV quiz show, The Chase and a friendship was born.

Sylvia visited the Wiltshire Farm Foods office to meet Mel in person and they regularly meet for a chat and a cuppa.
