Over the weekend of 13 and 14 June 2020 your account will move to EQi. It will be available for you to log in from Monday 15 June 2020. You can use the Saga Share Direct website up to midnight on Friday 12 June 2020.

Yes, you will be able to transfer out of your Saga Share Direct account, before being moved to EQi. Your new provider will have to contact Saga Share Direct to request the transfer. On previous communications the final date to initiate a transfer was 5pm on 1 June.

We have recently decided to extend the transfer period to 8 June at 5pm to allow more time for new providers to initiate a transfer on your behalf. Over this period, transfers out will be free of charge.

Alternatively you have the option to move holdings into share certificates. This will be free of charge for the transfer period also. To request this, please send us a secure message from your Saga Share Direct Account or call us on 0800 056 4827.

With cash holdings, you can transfer this from your Saga Share Direct account direct into your bank account.

Your login details and PIN will remain the same, and you just enter these on the EQi login page at www.eqi.co.uk. There is a login button at the top of every page on the website.

Your regular deposits, regular investments and dividend reinvestments will all automatically move with your Saga account to EQi. If you have a third party managing your account, this will also be transferred over.

Yes, this information will all move over to your EQi account. If you already have an EQi account and you choose to merge the two accounts, we are not able to transfer over the account information.

Yes, if you have other links to Saga through an insurance policy, savings account or subscription, for example, you'll still be eligible for membership as usual. If you are only eligible for membership through your Saga Share Direct account, we will extend your membership for a further 12 months from 1 June 2020, so that you can continue to enjoy all its benefits.
