What Makes Saga Different?
Our Brand - our people and culture are core to our brand. They bring the Saga Way to life, putting our customers and colleagues at the heart of all we do. We continue to build a culture that encourages people to be brave and challenge each other to do the right thing, whilst delivering exceptional service and products to customers.
Developing our people - we have launched a Leadership degree through the Saga Academy. We have invested in leadership development taking over 400 senior managers through a ‘Leading the Saga Way’ programme, which focuses on building a high-performing teams. We have also re-launched our graduate scheme.
A great place to work - we undertake regular engagement surveys to understand how our employees feel about Saga. Using feedback, we continually look to improve the way we do things, which includes the introduction of flexible working and providing an on-site nursery, apprenticeships, mentoring schemes and lots more.
Pay and benefits - we share business success with employees by awarding all eligible employees free shares. We continue to embed our reward principles, and have kept our pay and benefits competitive and fair. We recently consulted on pension scheme changes and have kept our defined benefit scheme open to new colleagues.
Equality and Diversity- we support the Government’s ambition to reduce the gender pay gap across all Saga businesses. As a proud member of the 30% Club, diversity is a key business imperative for our continued success. We strive to create a culture where everyone feels welcome, providing equal opportunities for all.
