Strawberries dipped in yogurt and crushed hazelnuts

Madeleine Shaw's easy recipe for strawberries dipped in honey, yogurt and nuts make for an extremely delicious healthy snack or light dessert.

Ingredients

  • 100g of strawberries
  • 75g of toasted hazelnuts
  • 2 tbsp of sticky honey
  • 150g of Greek yogurt

Method

Mix the honey and yoghurt together.

Line a tray with baking paper. Dip the strawberries into the yogurt then lay onto the tray and place in the freezer for half an hour.

Crush the hazelnuts into small pieces.

Remove the tray from the freezer and dip the strawberries in the yoghurt mixture again for a second coating then throw over the toasted hazelnuts.

Place in the fridge for 2 hours for the honey and yoghurt coating to harden.
