Now in its fifty-fifth year, Wildlife Photographer of the Year is the Natural History Museum’s showcase for the world's best nature photography. The exhibition at the Natural History Museum opens on Friday 18 October. Booking online is highly recommended, particularly for weekends which tend to sell out.

This year's competition attracted over 48,000 entries from professionals and amateurs across 100 countries. The 2020 competition opens for entries on Monday 21 October and closes at 11.30am GMT on 12 December 2019. The competition is open to photographers of all ages and abilities.
